Being a specialist surgeon as well as specialist radiologist he covers a wide spectrum of surgical and musculoskeletal problems from colic to lameness in horses with a special interest in podiatry and hoof care. Prof. Van den Berg gives specialist lectures to vets and practical lectures to interest groups of horse owners by invitation.
